Nanoseconds (lower is better)
The much cheaper MSI P55 GD65 trumps the Asus everywhere in raw bandwidth here. Only overclocked the Asus commands a fractionally higher write speed thanks to its marginally superior base-clock, but that doesn't count for too much. It's strange, since the MSI is only running its memory at 1,900MHz CL8, whereas the Asus is at 2,000MHz CL8, with the same set of DIMMs when overclocked. Even at stock speeds, both are running at 1,333MHz CL9 and the MSI is lower latency and commands a few hundred MB/s edge.

Sisoft Sandra claims the Asus is fractionally faster on average at stock speeds, but the MSI then mullers it when overclocked, despite the clock advantage.
